Getting a Scrub Before a Sunday Drive

Took the Met down to the local do-it-yourself car wash. I know car buffs are aghast at this but the Met was extremely grungy from spending almost a month in the shop. So we scrubbed it down then went for a little drive.

This is the maiden voyage of my blog so I'll start by giving you a little background on the car. It's a 1959 Nash Metropolitan. It has an Austin 4 cyclinder engine and approx. 53 horsepower. It is not a speed machine. But it is the perfect vehicle for cruising the beachside here in Florida.

Once we got it squeaky clean- we cruised around on A1A, visited some friends and headed home. And that is how The Metiki spent it's Sunday.
